During our last seminar (Dec.17th) we showed the installation of the intake system, the exhaust system and the fuel tank. We also showed what special tools and procedures are needed to prevent any running problems and insure a long lasting good running motorcycle. We wired in the Automatic compression release system and updated the wiring for the larger throttle body. Also an important topic was priming the oil pump and how to properly start and break in a new performance engine. We strongley recomend heat cycling the motor for best results. This consists of starting the engine and slowly bringing it up to operating temperature. Then letting the engine cool down to room temp. and starting the cycle again. Doing this three times along with checking all the vital signs like oil pressure and air and oil leaks will help make your fist ride a good one. at the end of the seminar we fired the bike up and started the heat cycle process. We would like to that everyone for showing up for the seminar and also thank Steve for letting us show the overhaul of his bike. Now if the weather ever cooperates we will get a chance to test ride the bike.**** Watch for our upcoming seminars and information on our drag bike project and our supercharger project. Happy Holidays to all and see you in the new year.
